Bland AI operations on Zapier
Triggers (4)
Start a workflow when this happens
- Batch Completed — Triggers when a call batch finishes. Fires for batches that reach `completed` (every call ran) and `completed_partial` (the batch ended early but did dispatch calls); batches that end in `failed` do not fire. Only the 100 most recently created batches are polled.
- Call Completed — Triggers when a phone call finishes. Each call is delivered once, after it completes, with its transcript, summary, analysis, recording URL and price already attached. Use the optional filters to narrow the trigger to one direction, batch, campaign or answered-by result.
- Inbound Call Completed — Triggers when an inbound phone call to one of your Bland numbers *completes*. It fires once the call has ended — not when it starts — so the transcript, summary, analysis and recording URL are already attached. Note: inbound calls have no answered-by result, and when the number routes straight into a pathway the `to` field carries the pathway ID and `from` may be empty.
- New SMS Conversation Message — Triggers when a new message arrives in an SMS conversation. Fires once per new message — the conversation re-fires each time its most recent message changes, with the message text in `last_message`. Reading conversations works on any plan; note that *sending* SMS through Bland is enterprise-only.

Show 201 more actions
- Add Library Voice — Add a shared library voice to your org so it can be used in your calls and TTS.
- Add User to Memory — Add a new user/phone number to an existing memory.
- Analyze Call With AI — Analyzes a call to retrieve structured data, insights, and answers to any number of questions. This runs a one-off analysis on demand. If you want every call analyzed automatically, set Analysis Schema / Analysis Prompt on the Send Phone Call action instead — those results are stored and can be retrieved later via `GET https://api.bland.ai/v1/analysis/calls/{call_id}`.
- Analyze Failed Run — Run AI-powered analysis on a failed test run to get root cause and fix suggestions.
- Attach Call — Attach a call to an issue.
- Attach Phone Numbers to Persona — Attach one or more inbound phone numbers to a persona. The same endpoint handles voice, SMS, and WhatsApp numbers — channel capability is determined by the number's own configuration, not by this call.
- Attach Resource — Attach a call, SMS conversation, or file to an issue.
- Authorize a Web Agent Call — Create a single-use session token for a client to talk with your web agent.
- Backfill Citation Schema — Retroactively apply one or more citation schemas to extract data from existing call transcripts.
- Batch Run Scenarios — Execute multiple test scenarios as a batch. Returns immediately with a batch ID while tests execute asynchronously.
- Cancel Eval Run — Cancel a pending or running eval run.
- Cancel Port Request — Cancel an in-progress number porting request.
- Cancel Tornado Session — Cancel a running tornado session.
- Chat With Knowledge Base — Performs a conversational query against knowledge bases with context.
- Check SMS A2P Status — Check the status of an A2P registration.
- Check Voice Name Availability — Check whether a voice name is available before cloning.
- Clear SMS Conversation — Hides all messages in an SMS conversation from the AI's future responses (without permanently deleting them). For development/debugging.

- Create Agent Session — Create a Norm agent session on an issue.
- Create Alarm — Create an alarm configuration for your organization.
- Create Block Rules — Create one or more block rules to prevent specific phone numbers from reaching your inbound numbers.
- Create Call Batch — Starts a batch of phone calls from a list of numbers, using one shared prompt and set of settings. Every row of Calls inherits the global settings; each row supplies its own phone number and optional variables. Batch lifecycle is asynchronous — this action returns a Batch ID immediately, then calls are dispatched over time. Use Stop Batch to cancel one. Uploading a CSV instead (`file_id` + `column_mapping`) is supported by the API but not by this action.
- Create Category — Create a custom issue category.

- Send SMS — Sends an SMS, WhatsApp, or iMessage message from one of your Bland AI numbers, starting or continuing a conversation with the recipient. Requires a Bland enterprise plan — non-enterprise accounts receive a 403. Reading SMS conversations is not restricted; only sending is. The message is accepted for delivery and sent asynchronously, so a successful run means queued, not delivered. Track it with the returned Conversation ID and Message ID.

- Stop All Active Calls — Ends every call currently in progress on your account. Bland AI responds as soon as it knows how many calls are affected and then hangs them up in the background, so calls may take a little while to actually end. Number Of Calls is the count that was queued for stopping. There is no way to limit this to a subset of calls — use End Phone Call for a single call.
