How to connect DataMerge

DataMerge is a company data provider that uses AI agents to enrich company domains with company information and retrieve company hierarchies.

Things Salesflare can make it do

Enrich Company Data — Enrich one or more companies by domain. Starts the job and returns the result when complete (async with webhook).
Enrich Contacts — Enrich specific contacts by LinkedIn URL or by first name + last name + domain. Returns when complete (async with webhook).
Find Lookalike Companies — Find similar companies using seed domains and filters. Starts the job and returns the result when complete (async with webhook).
Search for Contacts — Search for contacts at specified companies with job title and location filters. Returns when complete (async with webhook).

Look up existing records

Find Companies in Hierarchy — Returns companies in the same global ultimate hierarchy for a given company ID.
Find Company by ID — Fetch a company by DataMerge ID (charges 1 credit) or by record_id (free).
Find Contact by Record ID — Retrieve a contact by record UUID (from a previous contact search or enrichment). Never charges credits.

Things Salesflare can make it do

Find Company by ID — Fetches company information by company ID from the DataMerge database.
Get Company Hierarchy — Gets companies in the same global ultimate hierarchy for a given company ID. By default, company names are excluded (no credit charge) and branches/divisions are excluded. Set include_names=true to include company names (charges 1 credit).
Make an API Call — Performs an arbitrary authorized API call.
Start Company Enrichment — Initiates an asynchronous company enrichment job. The job typically takes 30-60 seconds to complete. Provide a webhook url or use the returned job_id with "Get Company Enrichment Result" to retrieve the results.

Look up existing records

Get Company Enrichment Result — Retrieves the result of a completed company enrichment job. Use the job_id returned from "Start Company Enrichment"
