How to connect Anakin

About Anakin

Anakin is a tool that extracts data from websites automatically and performs AI-powered searches.

Triggers (1)

Start a workflow when this happens

  • New Monitor Change — Triggers when a website monitor detects a change - a diff/summary of what changed since the previous check (with the AI change summary when the monitor's AI Mode is on). Create the monitor first with the Create Monitor action, then find its ID with List Monitors.

Actions (21)

Things Salesflare can make it do

  • Browse Wire Catalog — With no catalog slug, lists every supported Wire website and its action count. Pass a slug (e.g. "walmart", "amazon", "linkedin") to get that site's full action list with exact parameter schemas, each action's type (read/write), auth mode, and credit cost.
  • Control Monitor — Controls an existing website monitor: "pause" stops scheduled checks, "resume" restarts them (may hit the plan's active-monitor cap), "run_now" triggers an immediate out-of-schedule check (billed like a normal check), and "delete" permanently removes the monitor and its history.
  • Crawl Site — Bulk-fetches markdown/HTML across a site. Use for catalog ingestion or building a site-wide RAG corpus. Pair with include/exclude patterns to scope which URLs are fetched.
  • Create Monitor — Creates a scheduled website monitor that checks a URL every N minutes (minimum 15) and records a change when the content differs - optionally alerting a webhook or email. Scope "page" (default) watches one URL; "site" crawls the site each run; "wire" runs a Wire action each check and diffs its JSON.
  • Delete Session — Permanently deletes a saved browser session and its encrypted login data. Irreversible - you must log in again through the Anakin dashboard to recreate it, and any monitors or requests referencing this Session ID will lose authenticated access. Find IDs with List Sessions.

  • Discover Wire Actions — Finds Wire actions for a task from a natural-language intent. Wire is a catalog of pre-built automation actions across hundreds of websites (Amazon, Walmart, LinkedIn, Airbnb, Zillow, and others). Returns ranked candidate actions with their action_id, type (read/write), required/optional params, credit cost, and whether auth is needed.
  • Extract Website Data — Extracts structured data from any website including HTML, markdown, and generated JSON.
  • Get Agentic Search Results — Fetches current status and results for an agentic search job. Returns immediately with current state (processing, completed, or failed).
  • List AI Visibility Sources — Lists the AI answer engines available to AI Visibility Search (e.g. ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overview) - each with its slug (what you pass as Sources) and display label. Call this when you need to query a subset of engines or check what is currently enabled.
  • List Monitors — Lists your website monitors, or pass a Monitor ID to fetch one monitor's full configuration and status (next/last check time, active state, per-check credit cost, alert settings). Use this to find a monitor's id before using Control Monitor or checking its changes.
  • List Sessions — Lists your saved browser sessions - encrypted login states captured via the Anakin dashboard or Browser API. Each session's id is what you pass as Session ID to Extract Website Data, Crawl Site, Create Monitor, or Run Browser Task to work with login-protected pages. Optionally filter by website domain.
  • List Wire Identities — Lists your saved Wire identities and their credentials. An identity is a named account on a site; each credential's id is the Credential ID you pass to Run Wire Read/Write Action for actions whose auth_mode is "required". Optionally filter by catalog.
  • Map Site — Discovers all reachable URLs under a given site. Useful for understanding a domain's structure before crawling, or finding sub-pages to scrape.
  • Perform AI Search — Performs an AI-powered search query using Perplexity. Returns instant answers with citations and sources.
  • Request a New Wire Action — Requests a brand-new Wire action for a website that isn't in the catalog yet. Describe the site and what the action should do or extract; Wire generates and auto-tests a scraper, then publishes it. Asynchronous on Anakin's side (returns status "pending") and charges credits, refunded automatically if the build fails. Only use this after Discover Wire Actions / Browse Wire Catalog confirm no existing action covers the site.
  • Run Browser Task — Runs a natural-language task in a real cloud browser driven by an AI agent: it navigates, clicks, types, scrolls, and extracts on your behalf. Use when Extract Website Data can't do the job (multi-step flows, interactions, complex navigation) and no Wire action covers the site. For login-protected tasks pass a Session ID from List Sessions - never put passwords in the prompt. Supply an Output Schema to get structured JSON back.
  • Run Wire Read Action — Runs a Wire READ action - one that extracts data without changing state on the target site (search listings, fetch product data, read a profile, pull dashboard metrics). Discover action_ids with Discover Wire Actions or Browse Wire Catalog first. Transparently polls until complete when the action is asynchronous.
  • Run Wire Write Action — Runs a Wire WRITE action - one that performs a state-changing interaction on the target site (submit a form, add an item to a cart, post content, update account settings). Discover action_ids with Discover Wire Actions or Browse Wire Catalog first. Most write actions need auth - pass a Credential ID. Does not execute payments or transfer funds; such actions are refused by the API.
  • Search AI Visibility — Asks multiple AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overview) the same question and compares their answers. Returns one result per engine plus an AI-generated synthesis of where the engines agree and diverge. Use for brand/AI-SEO visibility checks. A "failed" run still returns the sources that did answer, plus per-source errors.
  • Sign in to a Wire Site — Signs in to a credentials-mode Wire site and returns a credential_id usable immediately with Run Wire Read/Write Action. Provide the catalog slug and login params (the fields that catalog's login schema defines, e.g. email/password - see Browse Wire Catalog's login_input_schema). The password is never stored, only the encrypted session. Only needed for actions whose auth_mode is "required" and for catalogs that support password sign-in.
  • Start Agentic Search — Starts an advanced AI search job that searches web sources and extracts structured data. Returns a job ID to check results later.
